The annual Covington Walkathon is not only one of the most fun events for our children but also one of the PTA's most important fundraising events, eliciting nearly 100% participation from Covington students. We will have lots of food, games, and prizes, so don’t miss this event!

Why is the Walkathon so important? 

The Covington Walkathon is one of the largest fundraisers and community building events of the year!  All proceeds from the walkathon go directly to Covington Elementary School, giving our school funds for programs, supplies, and resources it needs to provide the best education possible.  Every year, Covington counts on the fundraiser to pay for art and science supplies, classroom technology, teacher training, noontime student activities, library books, and much more! 

Do you want to sponsor Walkathon t-shirts?

To help cover the t-shirt costs, we are looking for family sponsors. For $35.00, you can help Covington produce a t-shirt for every student AND have your family name printed on the back of the t-shirt. Click here to be a family sponsor or bring a check (made out to Covington Elementary) to the Walkathon box in the front office— if bringing a check, please let us know what name you would like to be printed on the t-shirts. All family sponsorship donations are due by Friday, 9/6. 

Don't forget that if you purchased a Gold or Platinum Back-to-School Bundle, this family sponsorship is included! 

Do you know of any businesses that would like to sponsor our Walkathon t-shirts?

We are also looking for a few local business sponsorships, preferably from our own Covington community. This donation will go to helping produce the t-shirts and your company logo will be featured on the t-shirts. Interested? Please contact Adrienne Ludwick.

How can I help?
