Rainy Reminders Dear Covington families, As I write this communication another batch of storms is beginning to make their presence known. We will be having another wet week. During inclement weather there is an increase in the number of cars in our parking lot. As part of the Coyote Way, under responsibility and kind mind, I want to remind you to be careful while driving in, or near, the parking lot. The most important thing is SLOW DOWN. Be patient, work as a community team, and our parking lot becomes a lot safer. PTA has prepared an updated video guide on the Do’s and Don’ts of the Parking Lot. It can be viewed here.

LAEF’s billboard updated to the $3M mark! Did you notice the growing arrow on the LAEF sign in front of our school? The 21 parent volunteers on our Board of Directors are pleased to announce that LAEF just reached the $3,000,000 mark! 100 families contributed in December, with donations ranging from $20 to $5,000. Thank you! With $700,000 to go to meet our $3.7M goal, every dollar counts. That’s why we’re counting on another 400 families to participate this school year.
