Dear Covington Parents & Community Members,

Jr. Olympic Slideshow & Last Indoor Assembly: Thursday afternoon will be our Jr. Olympic Slideshow and Friday morning is our last indoor assembly for the year. Please join us if you can. Both events will take place in the multi. Let's celebrate our fabulous students!

Each spring brings staffing news and changes, and in the “good news/bad news” department I have a message to share with you from our School Psychologist:

Message from Ms. Prothro (School Psychologist):
Dear Families,
I am very excited--and equally sad--to share that I will be moving with my fiancé when he returns to his company's office in Santa Barbara this June. We were fortunate that he was able to work remotely from the Bay Area this year as I took my dream job at Covington, but at this point he is needed back in Santa Barbara to continue moving toward partnership in his company. My time at Covington has been amazing—I could not have wished for a better group of students, families, teachers, and administrators to work with. Thank you all for making my first year as a school psychologist truly special. I will miss Covington dearly!!
-Erin Prothro

Erin has been a great addition to our staff this year and we wish her all the best as she begins her new adventure in Southern California.

We are currently building classes and solidifying staffing for the 14-15 school year. Our tentative staffing plan will be shared in the upcoming weeks.

Regards,
Erin S. Green
Principal

We do this through your online orders to School Toolbox. Our online School Tool Box store is now open for the 2014-2015 school year! The store will remain open until June 6, 2014. Orders are online only. School toolboxes are $60 for First Grade, $75 for Fifth Grade, and $70 for all other grades. Toolboxes include all the supplies your teachers have requested. Toolboxes are offered as a convenience to families wishing to donate school supplies to their child's classroom and supplies are purchased in bulk, which saves costs. School Toolbox also donates a meal through “Feed My Starving Children” for each toolbox sold. So please go online to www.schooltoolbox.com and order today!!
